Andrew Kibe Trashes Mainstream Media for its Warped Ideology
Mr. Lambistic has come out guns blazing in response to the shocking report by Qatar’s Al Jazeera TV station on the spread of misogyny in Kenya.
Misogyny is a common term in modern society used to describe hatred or prejudice against women. It involves a range of negative attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors that devalue, discriminate against, or harm women.
Replying to an ardent supporter on X, Andrew Kibe wrote “What a useless hit piece. Mainstream media has become trash.” The supporter had alerted him that he had been mentioned in the documentary.
“There are numerous online influencers in Kenya’s manosphere pushing content for men, advising them on how to deal with professional pressure, health issues, their appearance, and most importantly with the women in their lives,” says the reporter before highlighting Kibe’s online portfolio.
According to Al Jazeera, Kibe lost his online handles catering to over 500K followers for violating hate speech regulations.
Kibe, who is currently on a bike tour across Kenya, has rubbished the documentary, calling out the mainstream media for chronic pettiness.
Al Jazeera Tears into Amerix #MasculinitySaturday Movement
International mainstream media organizations like America’s CNN and Al Jazeera have heavily criticized several other Kenyan elements for ‘toxic’ ideals.
#MasculinitySaturday, a popular conversation led by popular Kenyan tweep Amerix is among the platforms fingered as demeaning women.
The conversation often trends weekly as Amerix takes to Twitter (X) to offer advice to men on how to improve and become better versions of themselves.
A Bungoma-based men’s health advocate and wellness coach, Amerix has sent out numerous tweets that have elicited strong engagement online.
Al Jazeera identified the post below by Amerix for being dismissive and condescending to women, who continue climbing up the social ladder, thanks to numerous affirmative action programs;
“Men, buying gifts simply to please her is a NO. Buying gifts to reward her for doing something good is a YES. Flowers are for goats. Chocolate will make her fat. Buy her a long-lasting gift. A book.”
Al Jazeera reached out to Mr. Amunga for comment days before the documentary was aired. In response, Amerix posted Al Jazeera’s request with the words; “Shame on you, Al Jazeera. Let men prosper.”
Eric remains unfazed by the highly critical coverage, posting anti-homosexuality messages shortly after the piece went on air.
A section of his followers have pledged loyalty to him while bashing Al Jazeera for what they view as an extremely maligning approach to news reporting.
