Cassypool Reveals That Influencing is Not Working, Joins Matatu Industry as a Driver
High-flying influencer and social commentator Dr. Cassypool was recently caught on camera behind the wheel of a public service vehicle in Nairobi.
Shekhe has made a name for himself as a seasoned influencer, highly sought-after political operative, and gatekeeper of Kenya’s entertainment sector.
Kenyans were shocked to see a fully uniformed Cassypool driving a public service vehicle despite his high status.
Online bloggers led by Manuu immediately pounced on him seeking clarification of the sudden development.
The internet heavyweight recently disclosed in an interview that top Vloggers and YouTubers seek his approval to gain any sort of visibility.
“Mimi nisipo rubber stamp kipindi chako hakitatoka, ni mimi nilishughulikia vipindi vya Eddie Butita na YY comedian,” said CassyPool in an interview with local entertainment tabloid Mpasho.
Things seem to be challenging for him lately, as Cassypool returns to his former job as a matatu driver.
A bewildered Cassypool told blogger Manuu “Ukijaribu ukiona vitu zako hazisongi unaenda unfanya vitu zingine. Mimi ni dereva siku zote nimejulikana.”
Mr. Capon shared that his influencing career hasn’t been going well, prompting him to seek a new hustle to improve his financial situation.
The curious blogger asked whether influencing was no longer paying. Cassypool was visibly infuriated by the question, dismissing it as useless.
Seemingly uneasy with the cameras, Shekhe pretended to be in a hurry to resume his duties. He was interviewed as his passengers boarded for Buruburu, a middle-class neighborhood just outside Nairobi’s Central Business District.
Cassypool Denies Claims of Being Used and Dumped by Politicians
Dr. Cassypool also came out strongly to refute baseless claims that he has been abandoned by political associates.
CassyPool enjoys strong relationships with leading Kenyan politicians and is considered well-connected within political circles.
His political influence has extended to Tanzania where is reportedly heavily involved in Tanzania’s President Samia Suluhu’s re-election campaign.
The controversial influencer has maintained that he is still Chawa wa Rais and in close touch with the political space.
Cassypool termed as incorrect claims of him being dumped by the Suluhu Campaign and his Kenyan political friends.
Shekhe describes himself as a jack of all trades, emphasizing his flexibility to take on various jobs to earn a living.
According to Cassypool, more money is always welcome as he works to maintain his lavish lifestyle and women.
“Nikimaliza Kesho utaniona na Mama Samia. Tunatafuta pesa, tuko kwenye shughli ya kutafuta pesa. Sahi tunapiga Buru na Tao,” explained Cassypool describing his new job.
A section of Kenyans are, however, not buying Cassypool’s latest move terming it pure clout-chasing. Cassypool is well-known for his knack for controversy and constant attention-seeking stunts.
Days before his surprise media appearance as a driver, Cassypool posed as an influential music promoter.
This venture landed him in the headlines after a conspicuous bedroom photo of him and Luo musician Eddah Achieng Ayon leaked on social media.
The photo elicited a heated debate online as Kenyans sought to establish the identity of the man in the bedroom selfie taken by the talented Eddah Anyon.
Eddah later revealed that the man in her bed was Cassypool. The female artist has declared her love for Cassypool, who reportedly wants to recruit a new wife.
